Spreader Section:
Rotating and Fixed Frames: The main structure of the spreader adopts a fully enclosed steel structure, composed of a rotating frame and a fixed frame. The two are closely connected, providing stable support for the entire spreader.
Telescopic Beam: The telescopic beam can slide within the two "Ⅲ" shaped beams of the fixed frame. It extends and retracts through a chain drive driven by a reduction motor. When the telescopic beam reaches the 20ft or 40ft position, the limit switch will send a signal and cut off the power of the reduction motor, stopping the telescopic movement.
Rotating Mechanism: Rotation is achieved by a reduction motor driving a small gear to drive the slewing bearing. Each spreader is equipped with two drive mechanisms, ensuring normal spreader rotation even if one set fails.
Opening and Closing Locking Device: Four floating-type swivel pins are used. The locking pins use a spherical surface acting on a concave spherical bearing surface, allowing for a certain range of swing, enabling accurate insertion into the lifting holes on the container. Two reduction motors on the spreader end beam drive the swivel pins 90° and various proximity switches are installed to detect the opening and closing locking status.
Anti-Overload Device: Anti-overloading sensors are installed at the four corners of the spreader to measure the actual weight of the container and transmit it to the instrument to calculate the offset of the container's center of gravity.
Guide Plate Device: There are fixed guide plates and automatic flip-plate structures to facilitate accurate alignment of the spreader with the container's position, allowing the locking pins to smoothly insert into the container's lifting holes.
Electrical Control System: All electrical equipment and controlled components on the spreader are wired through a junction box, using a dedicated multi-core aviation plug to connect with the pendant cable, facilitating spreader replacement. The junction box shell is made of stainless steel.
Hook Section: Usually a forged hook body, the material has good forging properties, and the surface is shot-blasted to increase the hook's strength and corrosion resistance. An anti-脱钩 (anti-disengagement) device is inside, capable of bearing the corresponding weight, ensuring the safety of the cargo during lifting and preventing disengagement.
