Structural Composition

  Spreader Frame: Typically consists of a rotating frame, a fixed frame, and a telescopic beam. The rotating frame connects to the fixed frame, and the telescopic beam slides within two "Ⅲ" shaped beams of the fixed frame. The overall steel structure is generally made of Q345B material, featuring a reasonable structure, strong load-bearing capacity, and light weight.

  Telescopic Mechanism: The spreader's telescopic movement is achieved by a chain drive powered by a geared motor. When the telescopic beam reaches the 20ft or 40ft position, a limit switch signals and cuts off the geared motor power to stop the telescopic movement. Each side of the telescopic transmission chain has a tensioning device and a buffer device to absorb some of the impact energy from the telescopic direction.

  Rotating Mechanism: Spreader rotation is accomplished by a geared motor driving a small gear to drive the slewing bearing. Each spreader is equipped with two drive mechanisms for rotation. If one of the geared drive mechanisms fails, the other can still rotate the spreader, ensuring normal operation.

  Opening and Locking Device: The four rotating pins of the container spreader adopt a floating rotating pin method. The locking pin uses a spherical surface acting on a concave spherical bearing surface, allowing for a certain range of swing, achieving the so-called "floating," allowing the rotating pin to accurately insert into the lifting holes on the container. Two geared motors are installed on the spreader's end beam, with each mechanism driving two rotating pins 90° movement. Opening/closing lock proximity switches, container engagement proximity switches, and telescopic switches are installed. The opening/closing lock status is detected by detecting the two positions of the sensing block on the connecting rod. Inspection and maintenance holes are opened on the inner and outer sides of the end beam, covered with transparent plastic plates for waterproof and dustproof purposes, facilitating inspection and maintenance.

  Anti-sway Device: By detecting the relative angle deviation between the spreader and the trolley, it controls the trolley's running speed, allowing the spreader to quickly stop swinging, reducing the sway time during spreader acceleration and deceleration, improving operational efficiency and safety.
