Hook-suspended container gantry cranes are commonly used in ports, railway yards, and other locations for loading, unloading, and stacking containers. Classified as general gantry cranes, they utilize a crane hook to suspend a container-specific spreader for loading and unloading operations; four torque anti-sway motors and an electrical anti-sway system can be added to the trolley to reduce spreader swing and improve production efficiency.
The container spreader is driven by an electric reduction motor and consists of a rigging mechanism, spreader upper frame, slewing mechanism, translation mechanism, 40-foot lower suspension frame, twist lock mechanism, and guide plates. This spreader can be equipped with a translation mechanism. When the spreader's center of gravity and the container's center of gravity are offset, the mechanism can offset them to maintain consistency, ensuring the spreader completes lifting operations efficiently, smoothly, and safely.
